GODON, Alain

Born 1st Novem­ber 1964 in the Cen­tre region of France; is a graf­fiti painter in Eng­land and later in France; 1986 set­tles in the Nord region and con­cen­trates on easel paint­ing. Asso­ci­ated with free fig­u­ra­tion, he cap­tures car­i­ca­ture forms, ema­nat­ing from his graf­fiti period. The colours are bold, uses a thin black line, the sub­ject mat­ter sim­pli­fied yet con­torted with straight and curved strokes.
