Alain Godon Exhibit Opening Night in New York

French artist Alain Godon’s exhibit of contemporary New York streetscape art opened December 4 2008 at the Galerie Elysées on Central Park South. Godon’s paintings are pop art expressions of life in New York by an artist who has obviously never lost his ability to look at the world in childlike wonder. The art depicts the cartoonish distorted world of Batman as painted by an artist who obviously has no need of antidepressants. Cheerful and fun, the paintings show a New York that many of us long to see.
